In a Nutshell

The multi-award-winning Up Hotel Agency Ltd is looking for a Frontend Web Developer to join our forward-thinking and exciting agency. We are searching for a candidate who is looking to grow and has a hunger to learn and apply new technologies.

Our goal is to deliver high-quality projects that both our clients and the team can be proud of. Our environment is supportive and friendly and we use a range of progressive open source technologies to fulfil a wide range of creative client briefs.  The ideal candidate must have a track record and portfolio of live websites to back up their CV.

Please note that applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK at the time of application and for the duration of employment. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship now or in the future for this role, and proof of eligibility will be required.

The UP Life

We offer candidates the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office (Mon-Weds) and 2 from home. Our office is open plan, and because we are a full-service agency, the Dev team gets to collaborate with marketers and designers on a lot of creative projects. It also means that we get to know the whole team well (and often have lighthearted battles about whose turn it is on the playlist). Team members generally regard each other as friends as well as coworkers and there’s usually no end of treats milling around (too many some would argue…) 

There is also training for the hospitality industry, encouragement of individuals to grow for career development and monthly 1-2-1 meetings to ensure you feel valued and listened to – we really do care for the people who work here!

Pick-Me-UPs

As a close-knit bunch, we love to do stuff together such as go for lunch every Friday, celebrate absolutely nothing with after-work drinks, go to gigs, have picnics in the park playing rounders or cricket and the bosses even treat us all to a yearly company adventure! Qualifications and Skills

Experience

The successful candidate will be experienced in developing bespoke responsive WordPress websites, have a deep knowledge of the latest web technology use and have a driven approach working within a thought-leading agency. Work from approved designs provided by our in-house design team. Must have a proven history within the website development field and a keen eye for design.

What Next?

We will start by reviewing portfolios via applications w/c 2nd March through to 9th March. We will aim to contact candidates, successful or otherwise by Monday 16th March. A first interview will be performed via phone, and the second interview will be in person at our Rugby offices.
