Jacobs Inn, a well-known hostel located in the heart of Dublin, has recently expanded to an equally amazing location in Poblenou, Barcelona. The client came to us for a brand update and a custom website to showcase these two fantastic properties.
Jacobs Inn needed a brand refresh – not only to modernise their existing brand, but also to unify their Dublin and Barcelona locations (previously known as Zero Hostels). We accomplished this by using a tiered colour system to distinguish between the group and the two properties, creating an exciting new version of their logo, a dynamic animated logo ident, and a set of handy brand materials.
We also designed and developed a custom WordPress multisite which accommodates the two properties and a group level site, all of which can allow bookings through to their internet booking engine. The site features specific templates for room listings, events and galleries. It also features handy pages about the local dialect!
We’ve also been busy assisting Jacobs Inn with social media management (including creating assets posting and engaging with users on the client’s behalf), search engine optimisation to get them front and centre on relative searches, and email campaigns to help promote their exciting events and tantalising seasonal offers.
